The workshop includes an overview of the accreditation process and the specific expectations of the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) related to the 2024 PT Standards and Required Elements. Information is provided on:

1. Purposes and process of accreditation
2. How to develop a Self-Study Report that accurately reflects all program activities.
3. How to engage with the CAPTE Portal.

Learning Objectives:

1. Communicate the roles of the program, CAPTE, and accreditation staff in the accreditation process
2. Explain the Application for Candidacy process including the Program Review
3. Discuss the current interpretation and expectations of the 2024 PT Standards and Required Elements
4. Critique sample narratives consistent with the expectations of select standards/elements
5. Address how to navigate the AFC portal

Course Instructions

1. Click on the Contents tab to watch the course recording.
2. Click the Take Quiz button to complete the assessment. Learners will have 3 attempts to pass and must answer at least 70% of questions correctly.
3. Click Fill Out Survey under the Evaluation listing to provide valuable course feedback. Scroll down on all questions as there may be answer options that expand past the size of the window.
4. Click the View/Print Your Certificate button under the Certificate listing. You can view/print your certificate at any time by visiting the APTA Learning Center and clicking the CEU Certificate/Transcript link on the left-hand side of the page.
